AAA is for both artists and those wanting to lead a more creative life to recover from creative barriers through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as well as spiritual tools from other books by creative recovery leaders and ARTS Anonymous etc... The meeting helps alcoholics who are artists or want to be more artistic come up with a daily plan of action which is realistic for them to work on their creative recovery. Each member has an opportunity to state what their creative goal is for the day as well as share about how the tools of AA and other spiritual recovery philosophies are helping them establish creative recovery. The meeting also has a meditation or artistic practice session for 15 minutes where individuals can either choose to meditate or work on their art as a jumpstart of the day for 15 minutes. Open to Men Women and Other Genders. Straight and LGBTQQ friendly.
